Humidity:
Dendrobiums are from very tropical areas. Because often they're
so tall, get a bigger than usual humidity
tray.
Light
and Air: This is very important - good air movement
prevents water or mold from getting in the leaf joints. To get
good air movement, open a window or add a small fan to your
room, not aiming directly on the Orchid/s but just to get air
movement. If you do get mold, clean the plant with soap and
water.

Watering:
Water your plant when, after lifting the pot, it feels
completely light in weight. Or, you can stick a pencil
down into the mix and when it comes out you can judge
if there is enough moisture. if the pencil shaved area
wood color is light, there is not much moisture, and if
it is dark, it has absorbed water.
Fertilizing
Dendrobium Orchids: Fertilize fairly often
with a high nitrogen fertilizer like Wonderlizer 25-9-9.
We prefer weekly, weakly, where you water 3 out of 4 times
with a weak solution of fertilizer and the fourth time
you water is clear water. We're not telling you how often
you'll need to water, as it will depend on your house
and climate.
Temperature:
A temperature of about 62 is the coolest you can have
before flowers will suffer. Dendrobiums prefer regular
warm/hot temperatures of about 70-90 day and 65-75 night.
Potting:
Repot
every year or two with medium
bark.
