Vanda
Care
|

Vandas
|
|
Vandas like
it warm and tropical. Their waxy flowers last a good
1-2 months, and come in most bright colors. We wouldn't
recommend this orchid for the beginner, as it really
needs humidity and light. These are often hung.

Humidity:
Vandas love humidity - mist them often.
Light
and Air: Bright light is best - over a half
day - you'r brightest window.
Watering:
Don't use much if any bark in your mix with these. Big bark
is best, so when you water they get to dry out in between..
Temperature:
About 60-80 night, 70-90 day.
Potting:
Repot every 1-3 years - whenever the mix gets
old.
