Vanda Care
Vandas
Vandas

Vandas like it warm and tropical. Their waxy flowers last a good 1-2 months, and come in most bright colors. We wouldn't recommend this orchid for the beginner, as it really needs humidity and light. These are often hung.

Preferences:

Humidity: Vandas love humidity - mist them often.

Light and Air: Bright light is best - over a half day - you'r brightest window.

Watering: Don't use much if any bark in your mix with these. Big bark is best, so when you water they get to dry out in between..

Temperature: About 60-80 night, 70-90 day.

Potting: Repot every 1-3 years - whenever the mix gets old.
